What is an escape room?
You and your team will assemble in a themed room and will be given one hour to find clues and solve puzzles to complete your mission and “escape” the room.
Is this scary?
Yes, it will scare the crap out of you, so better bring a spare pair of pants and a security blanket to cry into. Just kidding, none of the rooms are scary and there are no live actors.
Are phones allowed?
Phones are not allowed, but they can be stored in the lockers provided or safely in your vehicle. For special circumstances please let the host know. (Note – the need to check Instagram and TikTok doesn’t count, mkay)
Will we be physically locked in?
Don’t let your claustrophobia keep you from experiencing the fun! For the safety of all players there will always be one unlocked door. Exit the game at any time if things get too real. You may not re-enter.
Who's to blame for booking errors?
Please review the date of your reservation and the number of tickets in your cart before you complete your reservation. No exceptions from our refund/cancellation policy will be made due to “bookings made by mistake” or “no shows” from your group.
Can I add a discount after a room is booked?
All sales are final. Discount codes must be used at the time of booking only. No exceptions.
Where can I find parking?
There are two reserved parking spots available in front of MindFox Escape. From there you will only be a hop, skip, and a jump away from adventure. The best part is parking’s FREE!
I'm a returning guest; do I still need a waiver?
The short answer is yes. We appreciate you coming back! We will need you to complete and sign a new waiver and watch our safety video (yes, again… we know, we know). Lucky for you, its only 2 minutes long.
Can we host a birthday party there?
Unfortunately, we do not have the space to hold parties, a small gathering or even do a cake cutting. There are plenty of restaurants nearby that may be able to accommodate you.
Are the rooms private?
Yes, rooms are solely booked for you and your private group, so nobody else will see how badly you perform, just kidding. The optimal group is around 4-6 players. Contact us for large groups.
How much is it?
Free! That’s correct, parking here is free. As for tickets, our pricing is easy – one price for all ages! Moriarty’s Manor is $39 per person and Black & White Café is $34 per person. Children age 4 and under can come along with you for free but count towards the room capacity. There is also a transaction fee.
Is there an age limit?
Our rooms are appropriate for all ages. We require that children under the age of 18 be accompanied in the room by a paying adult, an Avenger or one of the X-Men. Any participants under the age of 18 will need an adult to sign their waiver.
What is your refund/cancellation policy?
We have a strict NO REFUND policy. All sales are final, non-refundable and non-transferrable. If you would like to re-schedule your booking, please see our rescheduling policy below.
Can we reschedule bookings?
If you would like to reschedule your booking, please call us at 858-800-1234 and speak to a host or email us at [email protected] 24 hours before your reservation start time. If you need to reschedule with less than 24 hours of your reservation start time, there is a $50 rescheduling fee. If less than 3 hours is given, no rescheduling will be permitted. Rescheduled reservations must be re-booked within 60 days of your original reservation date.
What time should I arrive?
Early arrivals are appreciated, however, we ask that you and your party arrive no more than 15 minutes before your reservation. By arriving 15 minutes ahead of your reservation time, it allows everyone to use the restroom and for us to go over rules and regulations (no you can’t skip them); otherwise this will eat into your game time. Please note, your entire party needs to be present in order to start your experience.
What happens to late arrivals?
We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your reservation time. This is essential for everyone’s experience. If you do arrive late, you did pay for 60 minutes so if 30 minutes are left, it’s yours to use. Also, your entire party needs to be present in order for your experience to start.
Can we hang out in the lobby?
In order to avoid disrupting other games taking place in our facility, our lobby is open only to registered guests 15 minutes before reservation time. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate impromptu parties or social gatherings in our lobby. (This also means you will be unable to wait for your party to finish their game.)
